We know you’ll value the time we spend with you, as we are not a production line studio, we only book a small number of sessions each week, so you’ll never feel rushed. We customize each portrait to your needs and discus the various styles you might want to achieve, as well as your preference to digital finishing & airbrushing of images.
Our private studio nestles in the beautiful Carmarthenshire countryside near Crosshands, within easy reach of Swansea, Llanelli & Carmarthen, just an hour’s drive from Cardiff, with lots of parking available, great views and unlimited coffee!
It takes a lot to impress me, and oh boy Lynne did just that, I was blown away with her work and her studio. We had an amazing welcome and her patience for newborns and children are outstanding. One of the best photographers around!! Fact! Highly recommend ♥️

Preparing for Your Portraits
A planning appointment allows us to get to know you a little and find out what you want to achieve – this process can be done in person or more than often than not the planning process is completed in stages of telephone and email/messaging/pintrest boards during the run up to your session if you prefer, you can come to the studio as it can be easy to discuss your ideas face to face.Depending on the type of photography you’re coming to us for, you’ll get a specific getting ready information pack to help guide you through the process and make the most of your portraits, this will be sent to you when you schedule your session.
What to Expect at the Session
For sessions taking place at our studio, we normally begin by hanging out for a few minutes with the yourselves to know each other over a coffee or soft drink. Once we’re all relaxed, we can start with a few in-studio images, if children are involved in the shoot we let them dictate the pace, and allow them to come out of their shells naturally. Depending on who’s in front of the camera, what you’re looking for & the weather we may venture outside to some favorite spots close by.
On locations or sessions at your home we would begin by taking a look around to find a few suitable locations, then we can discuss what we’ve found.
Newborns are ideally under 7 days old, however we can stretch it to 10 days if needed, these sessions nearly always take place in the studio and we always plan lots of time for newborns so there are breaks for feeding & changing etc…Toddlers & young children are always captured much better when they’re happy, so scheduling for the right time of day to suit your child is very important, our morning sessions are best and we always advise this time – but please talk to us and tell us your child’s schedule. Also make sure your little one has been well fed and please bring some non messy snacks along as well as some favorite toys.When photographing families, we will normally run through the must have groups we’ve discussed with you at your planning appointment, we’ll try to do these relatively quickly while we have the kids full attention, then we can focus on smaller groups and individual images.
Viewing your Portraits
Lastly we’ll schedule a convenient time for you to come back to view your images normally about a week after you’ll return to the studio to view your pictures. They’ll be presented cinematically on a big screen as a slide show, where you can sit back relax with a coffee and enjoy the show.
Most people love all our work! But don’t panic there’s no high pressure sales here, it’s simply Lynne your photographer who you know, sat with you giving you any advice you might want on which images to choose and how best to display them, we often hear feedback from clients who are really appreciative of this service and are amazed on how helpful having a professional give advice and ideas about displaying your portraits.
Turnaround times
We know you’re excited about your images! But creating great artworks takes time and shouldn’t be rushed, we check each image to make sure it’s perfect, before it reaches your home.We therefore ask you allow 1-3 weeks for prints & canvas orders and 4-6 weeks for album & frame orders, if a rush order is needed, you must let us know *before* placing the order, so we can try to accommodate you.
